Where is T'Pau, has she ceased to exist or what?

With the 2009 release of Star Trek and the loss of the planet Vulcan, what will the history read about the one time star fleet officer and later prime mover and highest priestess T'Pau? when the movie ends "young" Spock meets "older" Spock who located suitable planet to repopulate their race. In the series Spock met with Tpau during (later deloped) Kolinar ceremony, so we know Spock knew her at that age.. my question, is T'Pau now dead? Off Vulcan as an ambassador to another planet or what?

  • The movie takes place in a different timeline. Thats why earth knows the Romulans and how they look as oppose to the series in which the Romulans were not seen until well after Kirk and Spock have met. So you can scrap everything you know about the previously established canon. The new set of movies will deal with an alternate timeline Star Trek.

  • There is no way to know the answers until Abrams and his crew develop the new timeline further.
