Is it normal to wake up feeling very dehydrated?

I drink lots of water all day and have to pee a lot. I don't drink a ton because I chose to though, its because I feel like I have to. So at night right before I go to bed, I have a big glass of water (half a liter to be exact) and then go to bed. I usually wake up a few hours later having to pee REALLY badly. Then in the morning, I feel very dehydrated and if I pee, its dark yellow and highly concentrated and burns. Is it normal given how much I drink that I wake up feeling this way?
