Can someone show me how to work these out n how they get the answers i have a huge test tomorrow n i have a feeling this is gonna b on it!!
what are the coordinates of the x-intercept of the equation 3y=8-2x?
what it the x-coordinates of the x- intercept of the function
(2/3)y=-6x+12?

if u wanna find the coordinates of the x-intercept, set y=0 so:
3(0)=8-2x
0=8-2x
2x=8
x=4
(x,y)=(4,0)
same for the other one:
0=-6x+12
6x=12
x=2
(2,0) or if u just want the x-coordinate: 2
