does flashing a rom change the IMEI number?

hey.

I have a situation here. i have just paid three UK(network provider) £15 to sim unlock my Samsung Omnia 7 and after giving them the imei number i am in the process of flashing the rom. so my simple quiestion is will the IMEI number change and will my unlock still work? Thanks very much!

    Nope, if it were there would be a big crack down on flashing custom ROMs since changing an IMEI is illegal. On most phones these days you have to actually replace parts in order to change an IMEI.
