  • I couldn't agree more about "ability". I have a Canon 1000D and here's what I'm getting. This is one shot of many for a fledgling actor's web site.

    This was shot out doors with extra lighting. But I shot it full manual and as stated above, "fiddling" with the settings. Taking a shot, leaving the shutter speed alone, did some adjustments on aperture until

    I got to this point.

    Do you already have extra lighting? Have you used an slr camera? If not there's a pretty steep learning curve to go through to achieve good results.

  • It is fine as long as you have a nice lens. The T1 with a 50mm F1.4 would be great for portraits.
