What should I major in in college?

I am currently a junior in high school and is thinking about applying for Duke next year. I want to be a gynecologist /obstetrician when I am older. I am so excited. :) Well anyways, I do not know what I want to major in college. I know some people say majors such as chemistry and biology would be good, but I do not know if there is something better out there. Also some minors that I want to do is art for definite. I am in love with it and I've been told that I am a very good drawer. As long with the gynecoloist job, I want to be an local artist. Well anyways, what other minors that I can have would look good when I apply for medical school as well as majors?

    The major is not important as long as you take the required prerequisites for medical school./
