How do I fix my Honda door?
The right front door on my 92 Honda DX wont open. Neither the inside or outside handle opens it. The spring on the back of the outside handle broke off. If I remove the inside panel and door jam panel, i can almost see where the door latches shut. If I notch the metal in the door jam could I pry the latch open to open the door. I don't know what else to do.

You just have to pop the latch in side the panel you should be able to do it with a large flat crew driver and a flash light and some patience. You should see some metal rods attaching to the latch from the lock and the inside and outside handle remove those from the latch then you can move the lock part of the latch you may be able to pop it open that way if not just try to use a little force. if you take the door panel off you should be able to activate the latch using the rods that control the the latch they move one way or another
