How can I connect a subwoofer and a power amp on MBOX Mini 2? ?

I have a Pro Tools, MBOX 2 Mini, Mackie MR8s, connected to USB, now how can I add a subwoofer and power amp to this setup?

    it depends on what subwoofer. most subs have the crossover built in. (mackie's does) -- so all you have to do is plug the outs from your mbox into the sub, then the outs from the sub into your speakers.

    since most subs are powered (like your MR8 speakers) you won't need an additional power amp.

    if you've got a consumer power amp already that is hooked up and powering your sub, just plug the outs of your mbox into whatever available line input on the power amp, then LINE outs to the MR8 speakers and leave your sub plugged in as it is.

    very important to use the line outs and not powered outs.
