Is the Zipper scary if you dont like heights or upside down rides?

I'm terrified of upside down rides idk why i know i won't fall out or anything and i have never even ridden one, well since the fair is here i want to conquer my fear and ride "the zipper",

a lot of people say its not scary and that it is so disorienting you don't know which way is up or down is that true? and if you close your eyes does that really help you not be so scared?

Well I went and rode the freak out so maybe next year :P

    Yes, I've ridden the zipper many times in my youth.

    In the early 1980's my friend and I were in the same cage on the ride, we had just gotten on and the operator move the ride forward to let the next couple on....when our cage suddenly popped open and we both fell to the ground. It scared the crap out of me I'll never ride a zipper again. If the cage would have popped open at full speed we both would have been killed for sure.

    It is a very rough ride and at points you will be upside down.I does go pretty high also.

    If you are terrified of upside-down rides, then you will be terrified of this, too.
