(UK) Iphone 4 stuck on vibrate mode?

I have tried restoring my phone, turning it on and off, checked all the settings and YES switched the thing on the side of the phone. But i cannot get it to make a sound, it just vibrates....Anyone know how to restore the sound to my phone?

Please help.

    seems like a hardware problem im afraid if restoring doesnt help. just try holding the home+sleep button for around 15 seconds till it dies. then try turning it on.. dont know if that will work since the restore didnt but just give it a try :D

    otherwise you might wana hit the genius bar at your nearest apple store.
