Relapsing times of trial pummel me to pits
Intermittent time, conveying pointless hopes
I’m now antagonistic, enticed by captain-know-its
A vexing perplexity where I can’t say simply ‘no’
Pragmatic, thought’s of dereliction
Perturbed by perpetual chiefs
Magnates so pseudo-paramount
Commanding me to stay
