Would it be a good idea to put buttercream decorations on a fondant covered cake?
I am a beginner in decorating fondant covered cakes and I want to know if buttercream decoration (roses, words, etc.) would stay on the cake or just slip off.

My Mother was a professional cake decorator and she decorated all her fondant covered cakes with Buttercream..
