  • lilies, roses, asters.

Although there really is no set in stone for it. My father loved wild marsh iris. Many baskets came with them in the arrangements. My mother it was forget-me-nots which we gave seeds out to those who knew her so they could plant them about.

  • White calla lilies, the original death flower, a classic. Or if you desire another, perhaps a white rose, or a very deep red rose. The flower should either be white or a dark color, nothing in between because that would look tacky against a dead person. Gladiolus flowers also look swell.

  • Stay away from lilies, I would just buy what you think is nice, after all it is coming from you.

I bought a mixture of flowers, they looked great

  • At this time of year one year ago I chose autumn ( fall ) tones and it was beautiful.

  • Lillis are traditional, as are marigolds.
