Anyone know of any instant hire workplaces in Van Nuys, CA (or any place in the l.a. area)?

I need a job. Usually telemarketing places let you walk in, take an assessment and get signed up to start working the next pay period. At least this is common in my hometown in Texas. Is anyone familiar with places like this in the San Fernando Valley, or Van Nuys, CA? Shoot, I'd travel anywhere in the L.A. area to get some work. I just got my bachelors degree and I am not getting any job responses. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
